Next August, a total solar eclipse will plunge part of Spain into complete darkness. To science, it is the astronomical event of the decade. To Dr Martín Olivares, it is the starting signal.

After years of estrangement, acclaimed investigative journalist Laura Olivares answers a desperate call from her father, an astrophysicist ostracised by the scientific community. She finds a terrified man losing his memory at an unnatural rate and a classified dossier detailing a global conspiracy.

Knowing she cannot face it alone, Laura turns to Luca, a brilliant digital analyst and former student.
